माता जाकी पार्वती, पिता महादेवा॥
एकदन्त दयावन्त, चार भुजा धारी।
माथे सिंदूर सोहे, मूसे की सवारी॥
अंधन को आँख देत, कोढ़िन को काया।
बांझन को पुत्र देत, निर्धन को माया॥
सूर श्याम शरण आए, सफल कीजे सेवा।
माता जाकी पार्वती, पिता महादेवा॥
English Transliteration

Ekadant dayavant, chaar bhuja dhari
Maathe sindoor sohe, moose ki sawari
Andhan ko aankh det, kodhin ko kaaya
Banjhan ko putra det, nirdhan ko maaya
Soor Shyam sharan aaye, saphal keeje seva
Maata jaaki Parvati, pita Mahadeva
Meaning
Victory to Lord Ganesha, son of Parvati and Mahadeva. The single-tusked compassionate one with four arms, vermilion on his forehead, riding his mouse. Grants sight to the blind, healing to the leprous, sons to the childless, wealth to the poor.
