Rituals (vidhi)
- 1.Daily tarpan with til-jal at sunrise
- 2.Brahmin bhojan on tithi of departed ancestor
- 3.Pind-daan at Gaya (Vishnupad temple)
- 4.Crow-feeding (kakabali) on shraadh tithi
Significance
Three pind-daan at Gaya frees 7 generations of ancestors from pitru rin. Most-booked ritual on devotional platforms during these 16 days.
