Rama Circuit (Ramayana Trail)

राम यात्रा सर्किट

6 temples14-21 daysStarting ₹55,000moderateBest: Oct-Mar (avoid summer + monsoon)

Major sites of Lord Rama's journey from Ayodhya birth through 14-year exile to Lanka war and return — covering north, central, and south India.

The Rama Circuit traces the geography of Valmiki's Ramayana — connecting the major sites of Lord Rama's life: Ayodhya (birthplace, capital, Ram Janmabhoomi temple inaugurated 2024), Mithila/Janakpur (Sita's birthplace, marriage), Chitrakoot (first phase of vanvas, hermitage on Mandakini), Panchavati near Nashik (where Surpanakha was repulsed and Sita was abducted), Hampi/Kishkindha (Rama's alliance with Sugriva and Hanuman), Rameswaram (where Rama built Setu bridge to Lanka and consecrated Shiva linga), and finally back to Ayodhya. The full circuit spans roughly 5,000 km across 6-7 states and takes 14-21 days depending on which optional stops are included (Sringverpur ghat where Kevat ferried Rama, Bharadwaj Ashram at Prayagraj, Sita Eluwa in Sri Lanka, Talaimannar). Post-2024 Ram Mandir consecration, Ayodhya has become the busiest temple town in India with ~3 lakh daily pilgrims. The Rama Circuit packages combine flights + AC bus + train and offer English-speaking guides for the religious narrative.
