Couples who said yes with Darshya

Real stories from recent weddings.

Our 7 pheras were the most beautiful moment of our lives. Acharya ji explained every rite in English for my American in-laws, and switched to flawless Sanskrit for the sacred parts. Every guest said the wedding felt truly spiritual, not performative.

Three-day Tamil Iyer wedding. Every last detail — the Mangal Snanam, Kashi Yatra, Oonjal — was conducted flawlessly. Even our most traditional relatives could not find a single fault.

Divya & Karthik Iyer

Officiated by Acharya Sundaresan Shastri

The four laavaan were sung with such devotion that our whole family had tears. Giani ji also accommodated the Hindu Ganesh Puja on my mother’s side. Truly a blended ceremony done right.

Wedding booking FAQs

How far in advance should we book our wedding pandit?
We recommend 3–6 months for Traditional and Grand tiers, especially for peak wedding months (Nov–Feb, Apr–Jun). Simple tier bookings can often be accommodated with 3–4 weeks notice.
Are travel charges included?
For pandits in the same city, yes. For destination weddings or inter-city travel (over 100 km), actual travel, stay, and food costs are added — disclosed upfront in the quote.
What does the couple need to bring?
Mangalsutra, rings, and any heirloom items the family wishes used. The pandit brings all samagri, havan kund, mandap items, and ghee. Premium tier coordinates flower decoration and mandap setup separately.
Can the ceremony be explained in English for non-Hindi speaking guests?
Yes. Traditional and Grand tiers include English narration. The pandit will explain each ritual’s meaning as he performs it, keeping Sanskrit sacred parts intact.
Do you handle Arya Samaj / court marriage registration?
Yes. Our Arya Samaj specialists handle complete paperwork including marriage certificate. Court marriage + Vedic tier coordinates the court date separately with a small ceremony.
What if we want inter-faith or blended ceremonies?
We have pandits experienced in Sikh-Hindu, Hindu-Jain, and Hindu-Christian blended ceremonies. Custom quote required — use the "Request Quote for Custom" option.
