Story / Origin
When Skanda emitted his shakti for the Matrika band, Kaumari appeared with the same six faces as her consort, mounted on the peacock, holding the vel spear that slew Tarakasura. She fought alongside her sisters in the Andhaka war and in the Devi Mahatmya battles.
