When Shiva produced his shakti as Maheshwari, she emerged seated on the great bull Nandi, three-eyed and crowned by the crescent moon, bearing the trishul and damaru. She matched her consort's ferocity and led the Saptamatrika charge against the demons, her dance shaking the battlefield.
