Legend

Sage Narada performed veena tapasya here. Shiva appeared as Rudra and taught him music. Hence Rudra-Prayag.

On NH-7 at junction of Kedarnath + Badrinath highways. 140 km from Rishikesh. Bus + taxi from Rishikesh/Srinagar.
