About this yatra
Pilgrimage to the sacred cave of Mata Vaishno Devi at Trikuta Hills, Jammu — one of the most visited shrines in India.
Mata Vaishno Devi shrine at Trikuta Hills (5,200 ft) is visited by 10 million pilgrims annually. The 13km trek from Katra to Bhawan passes through Banganga, Ardhkuwari, and concludes at the holy cave where three pindi forms of the Goddess reside. Battery cars, helicopter, ponies and palkis available.

Is Yatra Parchi (slip) mandatory?
Yes. We pre-book your RFID-enabled Yatra slip. No entry without it.
Helicopter vs trek?
Helicopter: Katra-Sanjichhat-Katra covers 80% of the climb. 2.5km walk from Sanjichhat remains. Total time: 3-4 hours vs 10-12 hours trek.
Bhairavnath darshan?
Yatra is complete only after Bhairavnath darshan. Located 2km from Bhawan. Helicopter also possible.
