जय बगलामुखी माता, मैया जय बगलामुखी माता।
पीताम्बर वसन धारी, स्वर्ण सिंहासन भाता॥
दैत्य-जिह्वा पकड़ कर, मुद्गर हस्त उठाये।
शत्रु-स्तम्भन कारिणी, वाक्-सिद्धि दिलाये॥
दतिया पीठ विराजे, नलखेड़ा मन भाये।
आरती कीजे प्यारे, विजय श्री दिलवाये॥
English Transliteration
jaya bagalamukhi mata, maiya jaya bagalamukhi mata,
pitambara vasana dhari, swarna simhasana bhata,
daitya-jihva pakara kara, mudgara hasta uthaye,
shatru-stambhana karini, vak-siddhi dilaye,
datiya pitha viraje, nalakhera mana bhaye,
arati kije pyare, vijaya shri dilavaye.
Meaning
Victory to Mother Bagalamukhi, draped in golden yellow garments, radiant upon the golden lion throne. Grasping the tongue of the demon with your left hand and raising the mace high with your right, you are the cosmic stiller of enemy power and bestower of complete mastery over speech. Enshrined at the famed peethas of Datia and Nalkheda, you delight the heart of every devotee. We wave the lamp before you, granter of victory, the supreme Sri who paralyzes adversity and confers triumph in every righteous endeavour.
