Gayatri Aarti (Jai Gayatri Mata)
Aarti to Maa Gayatri — the personified form of the most sacred mantra of the Vedas, mother of the four Vedas and the goddess of the dawn-twilight sandhya. Sung after the prescribed 108 or 1008 Gayatri Japa during morning and evening sandhya by every initiated dvija. She bears the kamandalu, book, lotus and rosary in her five faces and ten hands, riding the swan.
Lyrics (Devanagari)

Meaning
Victory to Mother Gayatri, embodiment of being-consciousness-bliss, giver of joy to the three worlds. Primordial Shakti, you are our mother and the mother of the Vedas. Five-faced, ten-armed, renowned as the swan-rider. Gayatri the three-footed goddess, also called Savitri and Sarasvati — you alone illumine the three vyahritis Bhuh, Bhuvah, Svah. Kamandalu, book and rosary are in your hands, and the lotus shines. We meditate on the divine effulgence — may that Light awaken our intellects. You are the bestower of wisdom and the giver of all learning; whoever takes your refuge becomes filled with knowledge.
