Kartikeya Aarti (Jai Jai Aarti Veer Ganesha)
Aarti to Lord Kartikeya — also revered as Murugan, Subramanya, Skanda and Shanmukha — the six-faced commander of the deva armies and son of Shiva-Parvati. Sung at the six abodes (Arupadai Veedu) in Tamil Nadu and at Pazhani, Tiruchendur and Tiruttani during Skanda Shashthi. He carries the divine vel and rides the peacock that overpowers the serpent.
Lyrics (Devanagari)
