सद्गुण वैभव शालिनी, त्रिभुवन विख्याता॥
चन्द्रवदनि पद्मासिनी, द्युति मंगलकारी।
सोहे शुभ हंस-सवारी, अतुल तेजधारी॥
बायें कर में वीणा, दायें कर माला।
शीश मुकुट मणि सोहे, गल मोतियन माला॥

Sadguna vaibhava shalini, tribhuvan vikhyata
Chandravadani Padmasini, dyuti mangalakari
Sohe shubh hansa-savari, atul tej-dhari
Bayen kar mein veena, dayen kar mala
Sheesh mukut mani sohe, gal motiyana mala
Meaning
Hail to Mother Saraswati, Mother of virtues and splendour, renowned in all three worlds. Moon-faced, seated on the lotus, bestower of auspicious radiance. The sacred swan is your mount, holder of incomparable light. In your left hand the veena, in your right hand the rosary. A jewelled crown adorns your head; a pearl garland your neck.
