Santoshi Mata Aarti (Jai Santoshi Mata)
जय सन्तोषी माता
Aarti of Santoshi Mata, popularised by the 1975 film Jai Santoshi Maa. Daughter of Lord Ganesha, she grants contentment (santosh) and removes troubles. Sung after the 16-Friday vrat completion with gud (jaggery) and chana (chickpeas) prasad — sour foods strictly forbidden during vrat.

जय सन्तोषी माता, मैया जय सन्तोषी माता।
अपने सेवक जन की, सुख सम्पति दाता॥
सुन्दर चीर सुनहरी, माँ धारण कीन्हो।
हीरा पन्ना दमके, तन शृंगार लीन्हो॥
गेरू लाल छटा छवि, बदन कमल सोहे।
मन्द हँसत करुणामयी, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥
स्वर्ण सिंहासन बैठी, चँवर ढुरे प्यारे।
धूप दीप मधु मेवा, भोग धरे न्यारे॥
गुड़ चना के परम प्रिय, तामस तज दीन्हो।

Apne sevak jan ki, sukh sampati daata
Sundar cheer sunahari, maa dhaaran keenho
Heera panna damke, tan shringaar leenho
Geru laal chhata chhavi, badan kamal sohe
Mand hasat karunaamayi, tribhuvan jan mohe
Swarn sinhaasan baithi, chanwar dhure pyaare
Dhoop deep madhu meva, bhog dhare nyaare
Gud chana ke param priya, taamas taj deenho

Meaning
Victory to Mother Santoshi, bestower of joy and prosperity to her devotees. Dressed in golden silken robes, adorned with diamonds and emeralds. Her saffron-red form blooms like a lotus, her gentle smile entrances all three worlds. Seated on a golden throne with whisks waving, offered incense, lamps, honey and sweets. Especially fond of gud-chana prasad; sour food is forbidden. For the sake of her devotees' relief, she instituted the 16-Friday vrat.
