Story / Origin
Created Indra's Vajra from Sage Dadhichi's spine, Vishnu's Sudarshana Chakra, and Shiva's Trishula. Father of Vishvarupa (3-headed deva who Indra slew). Father-in-law of Surya himself — daughter Sanjna (Saranya) was Surya's wife, and Tvashta planed down Surya's blinding light so Sanjna could bear his radiance.
