About this center
Zen-flavoured meditation centre in the Kodaikanal hills founded by AMA Samy, a German-trained Japanese Zen lineage teacher. Different from Goenka Vipassana — uses zazen (sitting Zen) and koan study. Quiet hill-station setting at 2,000 metres elevation. Cool year-round. Strong international following.
