मत्तः परतरं नान्यत्किञ्चिदस्ति धनञ्जय
There is nothing higher than Me, O Dhananjaya — all this is strung on Me like pearls on a thread.
Chapter 7 of 18 · 30 verses · Jnana + Vijnana
The Yoga of Knowledge & Realization
Jñāna-vijñāna-yoga
Theme: Two prakritis, four types of devotees
Speaker: Krishna
Krishna distinguishes his lower prakriti (eight-fold material nature) from his higher (the jiva). All beings come into being from these. Four types of people turn to God: the distressed, the seeker of wealth, the curious, and the wise — and the wise is dearest. Maya veils most from his true nature.

All paths lead to the One; only the rare see this clearly.
